Tips for the Expo day

To get the most out of your day at the expo, get to know the event in advance. Here are some tips to help you make the most of your visit.

 

Arrival

You can easily get to the venue by car, train or bus

 

Metos Center is in Kerava along the Vanha Lahdentie, at Ahjonkaarre.
When arriving by car on the Vanha Lahdentie, you will see the Metos pole next to the road.
Coming from the Lahti motorway, you can get to Vanha Lahdentie from the Kerava exit Ahjonkaarre is located along the road.
There is a limited amount of parking space in our yard.

If you arrive by train at Kerava station, you can take our exhibition bus from the station to Metos Center. The 20-passenger bus departs from in front of the old station building. You can identify the bus by the Metos sign in the window. The minibus seats 20 people at a time. The bus timetable can be found below.

Registration

Remember your visitor card

Please remember to print out the visitor card you received when you registered. When you arrive, you will receive a lanyard for your visitor card.

Metos Center has a free coat check service where you can leave your coat during your visit.

Please note that the event area is filmed and the material can be shared on Metos social media channels including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.

 

Demos

Tips on how to use the equipment and devices in the first presentation

Learn how to effectively use the numerous features of kitchen appliances, get excited about new possibilities and get new lessons and new ideas for your professional kitchen's everyday life!

Most of the numerous demos at the expo will be presented non-stop. However, five of our demos are scheduled so that you can hear about a topic of interest to you at a specific time. You can find the scheduled demos below. The demos will be held in both English and Finnish.

Lectures

Topical issues

Five interesting speakers will take to the stage on each day of the fair! In addition to protein-rich vegan ingredients and their preparation methods and cold food preparation, the lectures will cover AI solutions, data-driven sustainability and how it feels to eat. Read more about the lectures and check out the schedule here.

There is no pre-registration for the lectures. The lecture hall has a capacity of 80 people.
Some lectures will be held in English.

 

Factory tour

See the manufacture of the kettle with your own eyes on our factory tour

You will be able to hear and experience how serving units, trolleys and bratt pans are made in our Kerava factory.

There will be four factory tours on both days. Some of these will be in English. There is no pre-registration for the tour. The maximum number of participants per factory tour is 20 people per tour.
